Counseling
Rogers Elementary S.T.E.M. School Counselors and Social Workers provide support to help students overcome barriers to learning, socializing with peers, and emotional management. We work to create and support a positive school climate. We facilitate groups and provide individual services, working with students to help them deal with their thoughts, feelings, and emotions so they are able to function more effectively in the classroom and with their peers. During our time together, students will learn about using and improving different social and life skills or participate in a group specific to a life event (ex. grief, family change, friendship skills). We serve as a supportive link between families and the school to encourage communication and problem-solving.
